In celebration of my new blog, please come and have cookies and tea with me at the Cottage in the Meadow. Here is my daughter's favorite recipe for oatmeal cookies ~ENJOY!!
Yummy Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup butter, softened

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned,uncooked)
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2.Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

4. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt; mix well.
5. Stir in oats and mix well.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Cool one minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Makes around four dozen.

My husband is such a big fan of oatmeal cookies. I don't have a recipe that he's said is a favorite yet, so I'm going to try yours. They sound really good!

We'll definitely try this recipe. We don't like raisins in our cookies, so this will be great for us to try. What a cute name~~Cottage in The Meadow. It paints such a pretty picture.
